Commencement Ceremony Schedule

Colorado School of Mines Commencement Ceremonies

During the ceremony, all graduates will have their names read and they will cross the stage to receive congratulations from the president, provost and academic program heads. Ph.D. candidates will be hooded and congratulated by their advisor.

Each ceremony will last approximately two hours with a reception following the ceremony next door in the Ben Parker Student Center. Please allow time for parking and seating.

*To protect the safety and security of all guests no large bags or strollers are allowed in Lockridge Arena.

Undergraduate Ceremony

Friday, December 15, 2017, 9 a.m.
Lockridge Arena inside the Student Recreation Center
1651 Elm Street, Golden, CO 80401

7:30 a.m Graduate check in, Student Recreation Center Practice Gym
8 a.m. Doors open to the public and guest seating begins (No large bags or strollers will be allowed in the arena.)
8:35 a.m. Final lineup of graduates
9 a.m. Processional Begins
Parents and guests: please join us for a reception immediately following the ceremony in the Ben Parker Student Center, Grand Ballrooms. The Student Center is next to the Student Recreation Center. Please meet your graduates there after the ceremony.
